In the UK alone it is estimated that over 2.5 billion single-use cups are thrown away each year. Reducing your impact on single-use cups goes a long way to reducing your plastic footprint on the earth.
You can reduce the use of disposable cups in your establishment by offering a discount for customers who use reusable coffee cups. Additionally, you could sell your own reusable cup, which could even act as free advertisement for your company!
You could invest in stocking cups that are readily recyclable or bio-compostable. Did you know that of the coffee cups that are thrown away by the UK everyday, only 1% are recyclable
You can ban the use of single-use coffee cups in your shops and instead stock reusable cups.
